Your home from home
We know that time spent in hospital can be a burden. You leave your normal surroundings behind and experience anxieties and worries. So we don’t just want to offer you a room, but a home from home.
Be our guest and feel at home. And, above all, get well again! We’re here to help you!
Bei uns können Sie im Moment zwischen Zwei-Bett-, Drei-Bett-Zimmern und Privat-Zimmern wählen.
A day in our hospital
This is roughly how you might imagine a day in our hospital. The times and specific measures naturally vary from clinic to clinic and from department to department, and are coordinated individually according to the patient concerned.
Breakfast is served. The first nursing activities start at 6:30 a.m. Breakfast is followed by diagnostic and therapeutic measures, such as examinations or operations. Admission of our new patients also takes place during this period. Patients are also discharged in the morning, by 10 a.m. at the latest.
Now we’ll serve you your lunch. If no examinations or therapeutic measures are planned, you then have time to relax.
2 - 2:30 p.m.
During this period, the handover between the early and late shift of our nursing team takes place at the bedside. This is done independently of the doctors’ rounds. Here, you can express your specific wishes. We will be glad to adapt your nursing support as required.
If you like, you can enjoy a cup of coffee now. Otherwise, we use the afternoon for other individual nursing measures, for providing medical care as well as carrying out diagnostic and therapeutic measures.
We’ll bring your evening meal directly to your room. Take your time and then relax and let the day wind down.
8 – 9 p.m.
Our nursing team will visit you at your bedside. If required, we will support you in preparing for a good night’s sleep.
Another handover between nursing shifts will take place. The colleagues of the late shift hand over all important specialist information to the night shift.
After 10 p.m.
Now it’s time to sleep. Together with our doctor on duty, a senior doctor on call and a member of the nursing staff, we will take care of your needs during the night. We conduct regular checks of the wards and you can reach us at all times via the intercom in your room.
Someone accompanying you – There’s room for two
The decision to go into hospital is not always an easy one. It goes without saying that you can bring your relatives with you for support and they can naturally visit you at any time. We don’t have any set visiting times at Eisenberg, but, in the interest of all patients and hospital procedures, visits after 7:30 p.m. must be coordinated with the doctors on duty and the nursing staff.
Parents of pre-school age children and severely handicapped children can stay overnight at our hospital free of charge.
For parents with school age children, a charge of 26 euros per day will be made (overnight stay including meals).
Please make sure to discuss room planning with the responsible nursing staff and with your health insurance fund prior to arrival.
Relatives with a long distance to travel and patients who would like to come a day before the operation are welcome to stay overnight at our Waldkliniken.
A total of six rooms are available for this purpose.
The room prices (without meals):
Single room 40 euros per night
Double room 55 euros per night
Breakfast is available in our cafeteria from 7:30 a.m. onwards.
For us to be able to plan room occupancy in good time, please contact our reception team a few days in advance (036691 8-0).
In the best hands!
In our rooms, everything is arranged with one thing in mind: your speedy recovery. And your well-being.
So our rooms are furnished according to your needs, they are functional and very clean.
Radio and television are free of charge here, of course. You just need headphones, which you can buy for 2.50 euros at our reception.
At the machine in the reception area, you can also obtain the necessary card for TV and radio reception against a deposit of 10 euros. This will naturally be refunded to you in full when you return the card. You will find the appropriate operating instructions in your room.
WLAN is available free of charge throughout the hospital. Simply search for wireless networks with your smartphone, notebook or tablet and connect your device to the hotspot.
When you open your browser, you will then be taken directly to our log-in page and can log in there without having to register.
A payphone accepting coins and cards is also available in the reception area of the hospital. If you prefer to use the telephone at your bedside, you can purchase a telephone card from reception (the deposit of 10 euros will be refunded to you when you return the card). You can transfer funds to the card using the machine at reception (the basic charge is 2 euros per day, plus the standard rates per call).
