Coloproctology

We are in a position to treat the whole spectrum of coloproctological diseases (e.g. haemorrhoids, fistulas, abscesses or tumours) and to carry out all procedures relating to rectal and colon surgery. We have the largest hospital outpatient clinic for coloproctological disorders in Thuringia.

Coloproctological outpatient clinic

Tel.: 036691 8-1302

Our coloproctological outpatient clinic is the largest hospital outpatient department for coloproctological disorders in Thuringia.

Beside standard proctological diseases such as haemorrhoids, anal fissures or simple fistulas, we also help patients with complicated anal fistulas, if necessary by means of anal sphincter reconstruction.

We also offer anal sphincter reconstruction after injuries to the sphincter muscle, for example after childbirth. In addition, we advise and treat patients with continence or defaecation problems due to descending of the pelvic floor and patients with chronic inflammatory bowel diseases.

Apart from this, we look after patients with colon and rectal cancer and take care of postoperative follow-up.

We not only have professional treatment methods and state-of-the-art equipment at our disposal, we always have the whole individual in mind: This profound understanding is the basis for the best possible treatment and for a trustful relationship between the doctor and patient.
